When i was 8 years old i went half with my dad and bought a 71 SE 383 car for $800.

Made it back when i parted it out. Had a guy come up from FL to buy parts, made back the entire amount paid for the car just from him. Some things about the car i wish i had done differently but you live and learn and i don't like to be somber about the past. It was my first mopar and the first i ever parted out. I first got the car in April 2003 and it sat at my Dads engine builders house until September 2012. When it was brought home it was a mostly complete car but not a panel on the car did not have bad rust on it. It was overwhelming at first. I was 18 at the time, and i was just dying to rip into the car and take it all apart as i had never done that before and desperatly wanted the knowledge but my Dad was dead against it (for reasons i undertsand now) but never the less i dis obeyed and stripped it to a bare shell over the next few months. It sat under a cover all that time so he did not find out about it until July 2013 by the time he found out what i had done he was more impressed with the fact that i actually did it and kept it secret then he was angry so i did not get into trouble. The money i got from the car i saved every penny off and Bought my 73 Duster. Which is a very rust free car and a much better start for a project.
