Anyone know where the windshield fan motor is located and how to get it out? I started to remove the vent and ash tray inside but don't really want to go any further until I know what I am doing. The car is a 2 door with the 400 engine. New at this and any info would be great.

You are the perfect candidate to find yourself a factory service manual for your car. Digital copies are available on the net. I don't know the answer to your question as I'm not familiar with the '72s but someone will be along to help shortly, I'm sure. If its anything like a B or E body you'd be able to see the motor on the firewall under the hood.

I agree with Ironwolf and Detmatt, The factory service manual showed me step by step how to do my heater core. Take your time and you,ll succeed.

Me ??? Right now nothing, I commandeered this photo just to show where the heater blower motor was located. I saw it and said Hmmm and posted it. I just acquired before the New England snow flurries a 69 Sport Fury Vert that I will be playing with.
