One more thing...if you really really want this Imperial I would keep the email or phone conversation open and pepper him on a weekly basis...if you're the only one talking to him he might eventually have trust in you and do the PayPal transaction...or he could be a total nutjob...I don't know.

I once let an 8 mo.old Corvette leave without so much as one cent, no paperwork, and only talked to buyer maybe 6 times on the phone. He assured me a company check was in the mail. I had NOTHING. I never met the man but I trusted my instincts.

The check arrived the next day from the buyer.

See? I'm not that big a cynic.
