CL23M2C251044 is for sale in Belgium. There are lots of high-resolution pics on the website of BDC, a local American car specialist that is advertising this yellow/gold/gold beauty. My understanding is that the asking price is 26k euros.

This Chrysler was built with very few options -- not even A/C. I wonder if the great-looking (orange) pinstripes and vinyl inserts are original, as I see neither V5 nor V7 entries on the tag. The same question applies to the rear wheel-well and side-moldings. The pin striping on the trunk is clearly not original.

Regardless, the car is to my eyes a beautiful example of the 1972 two-doors. @JBR MA

For comparison of the moldings, here are pictures from CL23M2C279105, a Newport Royal with black side mouldings that was for sale in Laurentides, Quebec last year. FWIW, there is no V5 code on her tag, either.

One might argue that the Quebec car above may have been repainted, but here is an all-original green Newport Royal that sold in Maryland a few years back, CL23M2C136851 (ignore the color shift on the second photo). Note the lack of rear wheel-well molding, the different kink in the pinstripe, and the fact that the pinstripe runs all the way through the rear fender extension:

Here is another all-original EW1 white Newport Royal that sold last year as well, CL23M2C158021 -- note how the side moldings start and end:

Pretty cars - love the look.

I personally find the lack of options a negative, but the look is great. Almost as pretty as Buttercup, but not quite.

The VON starts with a "C" for Canadian market. That could explain the lack of A/C.
