Thanks man, just what I was looking for!! can't wait to install it. looking for help on where the flat bracket goes. I figured out the top and the bottom, will post when its installed...... I am curious if this is a 72 c body AC/big block only part. a freind has a nice 73 CHP Polara, and his overflow bottle went on the passenger side next to the radiator. his AC Dryer was in a different location. this is def. the right part for my car because my car (440 Pursuit Package) has the AC dryer on right next to the radiator on the pass. side, and has the 2 holes for this bracket.

(see the below images of the bottle mocked up on my 72 fury pursuit package, holes align perfectly next to Vin plate tag, other images of the same bottle mountedare from an ultra 72 Newport 440 Police Pursuit Package unmolested car, looks like the flat bracket goes between battery and bottle, the other image of me holding a different style C Body bottle is from a 73 CHP Polara 440 pursuit)

Hi,

I try to figure out which overflow bottle is correct for my 72 Newport. I think the one you have is the correct one, even the picture in the manual looks the same.

But I bought another overflow bottle and I think this is 73 one part number 3673836 which should be correct for 73 C-Body according to the manual. But I'm confused, because the 73 manual shows the same picture as the 72 manual, but with different part numbers for the bottle. But I cannot fit this 73 bottle at the same place as the 72 you have goes.

Any idea what kind of overflow bottle this is?

Ok, I think I found the reason why this bottle does not fit my 72. It looks like the bottle goes to a different location in 73. In 72 there is the AC dryer at this place it goes in 73. I found these images of 73 in another thread.
