Up for sale is a rare 1972 Plymouth Fury Gran Coupe, true survivor in excellent condition, affectingly know as "Cream Puff". This Plymouth Coupe has 24k original miles and is very reliable, everything on the car works, it runs drives and stops perfect and rides beautifully. This Fury has all its original books and records, a clean Texas Title and will pass a safety inspection.

This top of the line, full size, 6 passengers, Gran Coupe has hide-a-way head lights PS, PB, front disks, A/C, AM radio, tilt, nice Sahara beige exterior, bronze vinyl top and like new tan interior with bench bucket seats that show no ware. This Plymouth has rarely seen the sun, so all the glass, chrome, carpet rubber, plastic, cloth and vinyl materials show no ware and are cosmetically near flawless and looks like new. This very special Gran Coupe catches lot of attention while driving around town.

The Fury has extremely low mileage, dealer serviced, non-smoker, garaged kept, one owner that was purchased new in Sherman TX. It was used locally by a elderly woman for short trips to grocery store, post office, bank and church until 1992, when she could no longer drive and her family put it in dark dry storage.

I recently acquired the car and brought it back from its 22 year slumber. This Mopar has a perfect running 360 V8 with the Torque Flight 727 3 speed automatic with no fluid leaks. I replaced the wiper blades, battery, changed all the fluids, bleed the brakes, replaced the water pump, changed the points, spark plugs, cleaned the gas tank, rebuilt the carburetor, replaced the fuel pump and it fired up immediately with all systems working properly.

This Fury is a true time capsule in excellent condition; If you are looking for inexpensive to acquire and easy to maintain classic, that can be driven daily and with very little work could be a true show car, this is the one! Priced to sale it quickly at $6500 OBO. Contact Brad at 972-207-1115 for
more details and to arrange a test drive.

Welcome to FCBO. Very, very nice, desirable car. And a decent price to start negotiations. I'd love to see someone here get it.
How's the heater and the A/C system?

Very nice car! My problem with low mileage cars is I'd drive it so much it wouldn't be low for long.

The heat is working (Yes it has a inline residential water valve that functions) The A/C I believe would work, if I could find some R12. The A/C system was still under presser after 22 years of being idle. The Pump spins freely. I found this out when I put the new water pump on it.

Thank you all for the very nice comments!

Looks about 50 times cleaner than that 69 convertible with just 13k mls in two other threads. ;)

The C-body world is a small world indeed.

So, B-rad. Talk to me.
How much did he end up selling it to you for with Bill of Sale.
How much did you sink into it with receipts.
What would you like for a fair and reasonable profit.
Or would you like to do this off-line?
I'm breaking knuckles right now and bleeding like a stuck pig right now but I will get back to you if you care to respond.
After all, I did say before:
It's my favorite front end.

If price fits condition it wouldn't even bother me a lot and there has been a little work put into it.
Of course it would have been more economical to put in the ellbow grease yourself.

Right quarter damage? Right door damage also.

Here is the honest discloser:

* Dent in passenger rear quarter. You will have to look hard on the passenger rear quarter panel photo. It is 1/16 depth 3 ft. long line but, it did not break the paint.

* Pitman gear spline gear leaks on power steering box (I have the seal but, it has not been installed)
* It need front shocks possible other suspension soft parts. You can still control the car at freeway speeds but, it does not like big bumps due to the shocks.
* float in gas tank comes up late
* Surface rust underneath the car, and in the trunk from condensation under the rubber mate, none on the body or under the vinyl top
* You will needs to replace the tires at some point they are old bias ply.
* The car has a cherry bomb resonator that sound good, but a muffler should go there
* The AM radio and the clock does not work
* It has a remote dash fan and compressor switch that has bypassed the original and is hidden under the dash.
* A/C needs r12

Here is how it rates

Originality 9 3/4 out of 10
The interior is a 10 out of 10
The exterior chrome, glass, plastic, vinyl top, and rubber seals are 9 3/4 out of 10
The breaks are 10 of 10
The drivetrain is 9 3/4 of 10
The electric's are 10 of 10
The paint and body is a 7 out of 10
The front suspension is 5 of 10 (the rear is good)

I figure it is $500 away from a reliable 1000 mile trip.
