Because the proper look is way cooler.

Plastic with the metal grille wouldn't look right together, and just pastic in the grille wouldn't look right either. The plastic covers look good on the plastic car. Just my opinion.

had to travel back to UK twice this year for funerals, which were unexpected expenses, so my refurb budget was hit badly. Virtually rust free body and blank slate for someone to make their own.
