What a shame... did the front, or rear frame rust?? If the front did, can just swap out stub frames.

Hmm. Is this difficult or expensive to do? There is a "70 Monaco in a nearby junk yard here. I could get the stub frame cheap.

Now that is just not true.

Time and patience to swap out a stub frame, I would say give yourself a two day weekend to do it and you would be back on the road.

For sure, if it's the stub just swap it out. Simple task, just time consuming. Not hard at all. I would drop the engine and trans with it and just swap it to the new stub and bolt it back in.
