With the body as solid as it is this wagon would be a good candidate for restoration. Unfortunately the cost would be way higher than the value so it will probably continue to sit and deteriorate. I'm still waiting to make a deal on a certain black one that's not for sale yet.

I've been pleasantly supprised with the availably and cost of NOS parts unique to wagons. In my quest to get new paint on the Admiral. I've accumulated almost every piece of NOS trim on the rear end. Even a tail gate finish panel, which I really didn't need but was such a good deal. (Anyone need a nice original 69 Custom Suburban finish panel), LOL.
The parts that crossover to the full car line are commanding some hefty prices. As long as you have good cores to work with, do most of the work yourself, and avoid the "show quality" paint job. I think one can get into a nice wagon without getting upside down.

It's Not Going to Shift Itself
At a local show today, I was tracked down by a fellow who liked my wagon. He said he picked up a 72 that had been in a field for years. Turns out he is the new owner of this 72 and has found some of the hard to get parts already. He says it is real solid. I asked him to check in here and give us an intro.
I would like to see the progress on that wagon.
