that is strange.......too light to be honey gold and too dark to be sunfire yellow.......perhaps it was repainted the incorrect color

and I agree..........gorgeous car Ross, perhaps sometime soon i'll have something I can be proud of as well

Thanks. I hope you're not looking for an Imperial coupe cuz I'm gonna start an Imperial Fuselage museum. ;)

Wouldn't do it, if you want to do it right you'll have to completely disassemble it for a proper paint job, like trunk, engine compartment etc. Green ones are plentiful.
Really? Do you know of a mist green coupe that's for sale?

He won't paint it green......he's messing with us. LOL! If anything.......he paints them black.
Maybe I'm messing with you, maybe I'm not. ;)

I do love mist green though. That I'm not kidding about.

Am I allowed to paint it Mist Green or is that a Mopar violation too?[/QUOTE]

Sorry...... THAT would be a violation and would result in severe snubbing and ridicule by others here.

I love the car in that color....!

.

Forgot it's that strange pistachio green. Rare indeed, for a good reason IMHO. Doesn't fit an Imperial I think.

It's already been painted once so it's not technically original.

Its not a survivor but your splitting hairs when a car is restored to original specs and you say its not original. I guess that goes back to the period correct thing..

Leave the color the way it is please, its gorgeous

Mist Green is period correct all day long. So is formal black.

The only thing that would make me even consider keeping it yellow is my respect for Glenn. Other than that, I would already have it apart.

:head_smack: .... do the car justice and sell it to an American that will appreciate it for what it is.

I didn't see him give Chris any crap about painting his New Yorker a Mustang green. Must be who you are...

I dont recall Chris doing that...........damn him!

It was a Mustang color but it was a fit for the original color, no difference to me than mixing the Mopar paint. There are lots of pretty identical paint colors, the difference of an ageing of the paint will probably be more recognizible than that.
I had the aged color for a 20k miles survivor analyzed and custom blended for a repaint of two doors as the original mix would not fit any more.
