1973 Chrysler Imperial

Do read through everything and it is the 2nd time I have to say it someone in this forum said he thought it was worth between 8 and 10 thousand I guess you skipped that part. I responded by saying I paid half that So whats your point? I wondering if you know how to read?
Nobody said anything this time about your car.
I was replying to Ross the Flipper that painting a certain other very nice original car a different color than it's original color devalues a car. You car has nothing to do with it.
I wondering if you know how to read?
And I wouldn't go by Ross the Fipper's valuation. He's riding high off an overseas sale.
Had you advertised it on CL and he saw it, he would have shown up at your door with $3,000.00 cash.

Not true & I didn't make any money on the "flip" & the sale had nothing to do with a potential profit.

Scott's car may not worth 8K to anyone here but it is to normal people.

Well, I have 8500 into the Canadian Imp. Either I'm stupid or it proves that the right buyer will pay a reasonable price.

It proves that it only takes one buyer to sell a car at asking price......... BUT as long as the buyer is comfortable with it, it doesnt matter

I over paid (at the time) for my cars and I would do it again, because I had to have them. ....No regrets....

No regrets here either. I'm driving the Polara again this weekend & I just absolutely love it. Now that one I bought cheap.

If you got to know Hemi a little bit, you'd understand. The car was never officially for sale, it just kinda happened.

When were you going to tell us you decided to sell it. No courtesy to the community? No allowing a member a heads up that has been following it's saga from day one?
The silence was deafening. Not a word till it was rolled out of the container in Europe. And it wasn't even from you. Then a fuckin comeback with "it just kinda happened" You have no balls or common decency rooferboy.

No, you are totally mistaken. After the Fury was ruined, i was very anxious when buying a car and shipping it here (btw - Israel is in the middle east and not in Europe). The car was not offered for sale - i offerd to buy it. I was the one who asked Ross not to publish the sale, as i wanted to have it here safe before any declerations are made. Ross respected my request and i thank him for that and for all of his help.

I offered to buy it too and he said he decided not to sell it.......that was on site. Stan isn't mistaken ....... he's dead on

@Stan: what do you want? Someone from the community bought it. Hemifury1973 is a member and not just since he bought the Imp.

@Dave: When you aksed Ross to buy it he was not willing to let it go. And he probably knew that it isn't for you anyway but probably your Dad? Now someone from the community got it.

Hemifury1973 also asked me about my Imp but it is more expensive as it has already a lot of fees, taxes etc in it which are worthless to him being in Israel so I understand he choosed to buy directly in the US

btw: I wasn't even allowed to see a pic of the car when I asked for it on the board :)))))))

**** off.

As already stated, Hemi asked me to be quiet about the sale & I respected his wish.

You wanna see my balls?

Hemi made me an offer, you did not. Talk is talk & an offer is an offer. Does the phrase "tell your dad to bring cash" ring any bells?

BTW, I don't owe anybody here jack ****. If a member here wants to sell their car, they can do it without first asking the approval of other members. You guys are ridiculous.

I agree, understand and respect stormer and Hemi for how the transaction went down. Sounds like both are happy and the car is in good hands.

I dont have hard feelings, it does however show the character of a person and the morals of the man........

Its no big deal at this point ............. moving on...........................................:socks:

Ross is a GREAT guy. He GAVE me a good engine rebuilt and ready to go in, asking for nothing for it. Free, zip, nada. How many guys nowadays do you see doing that? Especially someone he didnt even know.

Ross was approached from.hemi to buy the car, and had money to prove it. Now if Ross had listened to hemi, then turned around and offered it up on here for more $$ then what was offered, that would make him a flipper. But he didnt. He accepeted his offer.

Dave, i do remember ross saying tell your dad to bring cash... Well he took to long.
