NOT MINE 1973 Chrysler New Yorker 4dr Hardtop, 28K miles - $7,900 - Brush, CO

Second owner. Always inside. Zero Rust.
Says it might be original tires.
28,000 miles.

If only this was a 70,71,72.

As a previous owner of a Colorado car, I can vouch for the minimal rust thing. My previous '73 was driven though, and the unibody and stub frame were still quite pristine, inside and out.

I have not.
It really is a good looking car. Even with the chevy grill, haha.
Sure would like to see the close ups of the tires. Does anyone know what the original tires would have been on this car in 73?
The originals would have twin stripe white walls, most were bias ply.

Would be nice to see the car after being washed and DRIED. When they are wet I have always felt someone is hiding something concerning the paint.

I spoke with the seller about his 73 New Yorker. He tells this about the car: "Fantastic original paint and interior, vinyl roof in great condition, a 9/10 car. New fuel tank, had to have a rad made for it as no one would repair original, he did not keep the original rad. He bought the car from original owners daughter and she is seventy. All the electrics work, Chrome and trim in great shape, rebuilt the carb. Calls the car a time capsule. Runs great and drives but not for a road trip, it has been off the road over twenty years". Not a great photographer.
The New Yorker is located in the town of Bennett Colorado. 30 minutes from Denver international airport.
If I was a buyer I would have to see the car in person or have a trusted person that knows these cars look and drive it. It does sound like a great car for the money.
Some photos I was able to get sent.

The apparent pristine condition of the emissions and other decals says a lot.

That gold paint would be an excellent candidate for a hand rub down with Meguiar's #7 followed by some carnuba wax, just like the gold Lincoln Continental was featured in the AutoGeek forum on restoring single stage paint.

Nice to converse with a seller who acts like a seller. I was asking about a car last night through text right up till I asked about the car having 2023 expired tags, no current smog test, and California BAR doesn't show the license plate up in vehicle history. Man did he ever get defensive and antagonistic after that question.
