Really nice looking New Yorker coupe. This checks off so many right boxes, just wrong time for me right now.

Looks like GE7 paint.

From the ad: "Beautiful car only selling as I don’t have time enjoy it. Only driven a handful of times over the last few years. Mostly original paint car. Interior is super nice runs drives and stops perfect. Original Early 73 production steel crank 440 front trans seal is leaking from sitting but should reseal with some miles on it. Comes with complete full collection of brand new parts inc entire front end rebuild kit, front and rear brakes Inc rotors and drums that I had bought a few years back during the Covid bs as I saw a lot of classic car parts were getting scarce. Only bought as spare parts does not need them installed.

This is my let it go price. Don’t bother low balling me without coming to see it as I am sure I will regret selling this.

its 81k miles on it, not kms so thats 130k kms........
it was 1977 when canadian speedos went metric
 
I know this car ...took it for a test drive.....bondo buggy .....lots of on it ...loose front end....good from far but......way to much money ...needs lots of work....8500.00 maybe

No I don't, but that guy bought it after i saw it ....I offered 8000. at the time ( as i knew how much work it needed) I learned that car originally came from Swift Current Saskatchewan..when i saw it it was in Russell, Manitoba...big older farm guy owned it ....when we talked he would lean hard against the fenders. That's when i notice the all the chips and small dents in on the fenders ,they were the same hight as his Levi's pants which have those small metal studs on them....he told me there was no bond on it ....funny i notice this little nick about the middle of the drivers window alone the roof line just above the chrome trim ... its the same on the passage side ( i can see it in these pictures this guy posted on here) you really got to look for it but once you see it you'll know...my thoughts at that time were how could you miss those nicks and then paint over them...even after painting primer first .....its about 1/2in long and about 1/4in deep...on both side and pretty much the same location.....if you look closely at the wind shield pillar you'll see how uneven it is.....the roof has to be replaced i use to work in a body shop...if you want to bring it back to its glory and you did all the work to get it ready for painting....how much would you spend.....?
 
Dang, I sold my big banana '73 NYB for about $9k (USD), and it had been gone through and could drive anywhere. No bondo, no skeletons in the closet, and everything worked....
