Ok i will I just missed out on a 73 it was Blue with white interior it was even nicer for 6,000 bucks. I was a day or 2 late I found a 73 Newport coupe Navajo all original never touched in nicer shape then the Imperial. The Imperial which I had no idea had 1 repaint with the old enamel base paint

I like the 69 to 71 Imperials there great looking. I think the ride in the 73 was the best of the bunch and they rate the HP much lower, Thats false info given to insurance Companies this car had well over 210 HP it had 300 or more. The car had the smoothest 727 I have ever driven you could not feel it shift. its fun at the time I had a 69 Cougar 390 s code and the Imperial had more power. i have no idea but the 390 was stock rebuilt ran fine, It was tiny and it was unimpressive. I have an a big 65 Sport w 426 and that car will give you whiplash

Thanks man, and sorry for my late reply.. I got tons of work these days, which is good in regard to acquiring more C-body's, but pretty bad in regard to finding time to cruise the cbodiesonly site :)

I can't agree more on the 69-71 imps looking fine.. But then again.. I am a total slut when it comes to Mopars and which one to love..

Ha ha.. I like the whiplash comment.. I'd love to own an Imperial, with "whiplash potential".. My super trashy looking 69 300 vert runs really well, and very few things beat the feeling of gliding up alongside, and subsequently TRASHING smart-*** youngsters in European GTI's, in stoplight Grand Prix's...

A while back, there was a thread on a nice 71 coupe, robbed for it's drive line, and I had some short lived plans to rescue it and make it F A S T, with some sort of very aggressive super-engine, but someone in Finland beat me to it. It could have been the perfect "stop light surprise" ! :-D
