Wow is this one of those 73 Polara Spring specials? Looks to be in rather decent shape. Although it looks like there is rust hole or is the vinyl coming up under the left corner of the rear window? And no lock cylinder on the trunk?

Pretty sure it's a spring special. I had a white one with the exact same interior. Mine had a 400 engine in it.

Yep that is a Spring Special . It is missing the red medallion hubcaps. I have a 2dr.black on black with that white interior with the fabric inserts . Pretty car. Worth the money for a limited amount of them made. Car came in black, white , red and silver with a black or white top . That special interior was part of the package

Definitely a Spring Special. First clue was the side body door strip being in red. Medallion on C pillar, check. Plaid seats, check. In red, check. Missing wheel covers and one will never find those.

I found 5 over a two year period. Four in excellent condition. I was lucky.

Mine are stored in a box as they have had a bad habit of flying off when crossing a driveway or bump.

Looks like this 73 Polara has resurfaced for sale. Looking a little bit rougher than last time. Supposedly local with the generic $1234 price listed.

I ended up sending the seller a message last night...he didn't mention the engine but it has some rust in the lower parts of the body.

"has 45000 miles runs and drives, vehicles is in great condition"

Hmm, is all I have to say about that sentence.

He also has rust all along the rear lower window channel which will be very obvious once the vinyl comes off.
