Not originally a police car I guess, they wouldn*t order a 2dr. car for duty ?

The Hood is from a 70 Fury...a friend of mine purchased a 72 Fury that a man put all of the police package equipment on this car including the power hood bulges. It was then painted black and white. The intertior was all changed to the police package car. After all that work my friend purchased it pretty cheap. He still owns the car. It started as a nice rust free car. He always wanted a nice rust free Police car, hard to come by and purchased this clone.

So where/what is that hood from?? That's not a 73' Fury hood...

the bulges could not be had on that 73' Dodge Polara hood from the factory is what I'm asking....they are transplants. If they could then its the very FIRST time I've ever seen that on a 73' Dodge Polara.....I'm impressed...and since we're at it isn't this a "Monaco" trim, not "Polara"? ...thought Monaco trim got concealed headlight front ends for 72-73? Someone help me out with this one.

Correct on both....My friends hood bulges on his 72 Fury were cut out and fastened on the 72 hood. The example I'm aware of looked flawless with no seams etc. On the other issue: it is a Monaco with the hideaway headlights so you are correct. Too bad...Monaco Coupes in that year are sharp looking and RARE.

I like it! Get rid of the antennas, and crap on the doors, and I think it would be sweet

Thanks. That's what was throwing me off, the workmanship looks to be so good I was starting to think it was stock/real. Whoever did that work has some good hands at the end of their arms.
Agreed, the 73' Monaco coupe w/ the peekaboo lights are super cool looking I would love to get one, don't see them much.

"1973 Dodge " is about as much of that ad as I believe.

that is one weird steering wheel.

The wheel I showed you is from a 71, everything I have been told is that it is a police only wheel. A 73 I cant speak for . I am not that well versed in those
