I'd like to get my hands on that steering wheel!
Judging by the cover...:lol: I bet the rim is cracked at least... the entire thing may be crumbling... otherwise, that may be the one piece that makes the whole thing worthwhile.
 
Yes. Straight and solid body + nice interior. At first glance it looks like an easy fix....:cooling system + new shoes

Colorado Springs is a little far from Virginia, but I've found a forest green 73 NY closer to home that I might be able to save. Little better shape. Has full cooling system. New tires. Basically straight body. Interior in disarray - seats and carpet just lying in the car, but I could put that back together in a day, Mighty tempting. Love those 73 New Yorkers. People say, "looks like a chevy." Not to someone who knows. Cool cars! Flatest widest hood. Love seeing the fender turn signals light up at night. And the dash has the coolest green glow. (Had one 20 years ago but sold it because the front subframes rusted loose at the rear mounts. Lower quarters had rusted away. I was restoring another car too.)
