I don't think the original paint color was Spinnaker White. Probably was Y2 Sunfire Yellow which I think is a very nice color. Who knows, I might be wrong.....That continental kit has got to go. LOL

Agree about the continental kit. Its hideous.
If the original color was Sunfire Yellow , would , or could have the vinyl top been originally white?

I don't think it's had a color change. Too much work to paint on both sides of the door weatherstrip, and the hinge area just doesn't have that repainted look to it. I think this was an ordered car. Tilt/telescopic with no other power options wouldn't be found sitting on the lot. Either would white over white on a Newport coupe. Looking at how nice the door panels are, I'd have to think it's original paint, but you never know until you see it in person.

This was here within the last month, still hate the add ons, ruins the beautiful flowing lines of the original design.

I didn't see it the first time either. Nice car, nice body, wish I was closer to Iowa. I had a 73 Monaco with a 400. I expected it to be a low compression, short stroke dog of a motor, but it was okay for moving that car.

The only 400 I've ever owned was a 72 400-4 very impressive

I'm with Bob. That is definitely not Spinnaker White.

You think it's too white of a white? The pictures were taken on a really clear and sunny day and white doesn't always show true in photos. Doesn't look much different to me than this '73 Imperial.

Of course, we can't see the engine compartment or trunk or fender tag. If this car is a color change to white, it looks like the body man did a helluva good job - at least from what I can see. He'd be hired for my next paint work, if I lived in Iowa.

Is this the color, y2 sunfire yellow, we are saying it was changed from? Not impossible, but hard to believe

I love that one-year-only '73 grill!

So this white exterior- yellow interior was a viable factory color combination?

Must of Sold.
Did any here get lucky enough to contact the seller or purchase it?
