That's right about the instant 10% off, take some more off for the vinyl top problems and complain about how hard parts are to get for the rear disc. I'm thinking $1800 is looking good.

I was actually thinking out how I could go look at this when the add went away... best wishes to the new owner. I hope the next time I see it it's back to right and not on 22" wheels and asking 10k.

Shoulda hollered at me, I would have been glad to go look at it for someone from the board, I'm only 30 minutes away.

Thank you. I really should have made an effort at that price... but the condition was making me think twice, plus I have always had such a hard time getting a title from Florida DMV on older car purchases TN doesn't issue titles to out of state. Does anyone have any insight into how to make a title transfer easier/safer when dealing with FL and a state that is bill of sale?

It's simple.
Bring BOS and a friend with a FL address to a Notary.
BOS should show that friend is selling car to you.
Bring notarized BOS and vehicle to DMV with DMV form 82840.
Compliment DMV clerk on how attractive she is.

Title work is one of the few things I miss about Pennsylvania...the whole transaction happened at the notary, they even issued the plate. Here in Orlando, last time I bought a vehicle from out of state, I went to the tag office and got all the paperwork they said I needed. Fedexed the stuff back and forth with the seller including getting the vin verified by a cop. When I went back the get the title and plate I waited to go back to the same clerk and she still didn't want to complete the transaction.

I even tried to smile nicely through the entire experience. Do you think its my people skills?
