The only other Mopar C-body squad I have is in resto process... a '72 New Jersey unmarked statie Fury III (yep, B7 Blue, hidden headlights, uplevel interior, etc) "PH41U2F" we are working on (thats gonna all slow down cuz i bought this '75 GFB with most of my resto budget for this year :)).

That's it .. all the Mopar cop cars I have left are the Cs: the 71 & 73 WSP Polaras, 72 NJ Fury, and the five posted n the gallery here. Ill gt this NJ statie done soon I hope.

Home. Just off the truck. It was raining. in my garage in these photos taken today.

This car was in Sweet Springs, MO, just off I-70. about halfway between Kansas City MO and Columbia MO. Bought new at Jack Miller Plymouth, in Liberty MO (about 60 miles away).

Tires are all Michelin, but a mix of 3/4 in and 1/2 in whites. I think the 3/4s were closer to OEM per the brochure photo. I have sets of both in the metric version of the H78R-15s

After I clean it up, I'll put in in the gallery.

thanks for payin attention to this thread.

you Sir, suck!! congrats!!

its an honor to proudly be associated with the many other folks in the "You Suck" organization of proud C- body owners assembled here :)

thanks -- this is really a nice, used, loved, original car. the original spare, WITH a pristine, original road wheel, is still in the trunk. everything works, even the digital clock (mechanical movement of the era). noticed speedo a little 'jumpy" at low speeds (smoothes out at 30).

anyway, i am just lucky i saw it and had the time to act on it. i need a proper battery shield, a driver side front wheel well trim piece, remove the mud flaps (treat the holes), see if i can smooth out the road rash in front of rear wheels, and then cruise a while -- well get some plates first.

:thankyou:

Good ole Jack Miller back in 1979, and that address today. Looks like it coulda been a dealership and where this GF spent some time once -- with some IH products too.

That name is still in the northern KC, MO area on a lotta brands, so ole Jack musta done good for himself. :)

How ya doin,
Big Jim from DownUnder here. Wondering how "BIG" this vehicle is in comparison to my 1976 Chrysler New Yorker 440 V8 Brougham Coupe ???
Is it like a Valiant next to a Fury etc. How many miles are on it ???
Please reply - interested in purchasing.
Jim Goss - Adelaide, South Australia
P.S. Looked on eBay for listing = could NOT find = too early ???

It's about the same size as the Chrysler you have. Both are C bodies

The width and height would be near identical (as would many of the mechanical components). The Plymouth is a few inches shorter between the wheels, perhaps 3-inches, or 6.8357 of your Australian centiliters.

FarCanal i agree overall with Carmine and 71polara383 .. both are C bodies so comparable size cars.

though NYer is 12 inches ( ~ 232 in. vs ~220 in for GF) longer in total lenght and few hundred pounds heavier.

car has 81K miles, auction starts tonight 10/22 9:00pm EDT USA so liike noon 10/23 your time.

thx.

Dont look the same to me for these B models IMHO :). B's look smaller (skinnier) by a tad and C's glass is "flatter".

i need a proper battery shield,
If'n you're referring to a Thermoguard, I have a fair-cond used one I could sell you for this car or one of your other smog-era holdings.
It's been cut out a bit for terminal clearance and it's dirty, but maybe it's useful to you?

I truly wish I had the money for this. I've been looking for an identically-equipped RMB, but this is a twin in every way. PM me with your ask price, maybe I can make something happen.
