Selling a 1978 New Yorker 2 door. The car does run, move, and stop. It is a 440 and actually runs very well and didn’t even smoke the first time I started it after roughly 20 years of sitting.

It is kinda tacky but is a very good start. It doesn’t have a massive amount of rust, but I haven’t dug to terribly far into it. Odometer is showing 96k.

I may end up parting the car out but would prefer to try and sell it whole first. I do have a clean and clear notarized title for the car

Asking $1500 OBO

Nice car! I really like these 2 doors. If this one was just in marginally better shape and I didn’t already have many other projects I’d probably keep it.

It's a '76 not '78! The grill is '76-'77 and it has the dk blue dash and trim! All the wrecks seem to always be my fav color blue!

I honestly hadn’t even paid attention to the year. Lol. I didn’t have time for it when it came here. I threw a battery in it and drove it around back, I just guessed at it being a 78. Lol

I’ll try to confirm the year in the daylight tomorrow

I bet that car would actually clean up pretty nicely. The problem would be the cracked interior panels.

I don’t doubt that it would. One of these days I’ll probably give it a quick bath and whatnot. I just don’t have time to mess with it for myself.

The "Sail Panel" looks good....the trim is good and straight, if the other one is this nice if you want to remove them they can be re-colored! Dash pad looks decent and I looked at the roof rail stripping and the little area I saw didn't have any cracks.

Jacob: 1976 was the last year, they (Chrysler) had those pretty dk. blue interiors. Then they went to the light blue color. Good Luck on selling her!

Jake, just my 2 cents. Pull her from the weeds and give a good power wash at least. Would help with a PROPER buyer. If not! Derby guys will swarm. IMO

I’ll cut it up and inventory all the parts before it gets turned into a derby car, there is all kinds of 80s and 90s garbage out there that people can use for that. Lol
