When I worked for Chrysler, we had a lab car just like that except for the colors. It was a surprising blast to drive because it handled and drove so well. I didn't expect that when it first came out.

Looks like a great car for the money. Very clean and nice. I wouldn't hot rod it especially with the Slant 6. Maybe change the wheels and drive the wheel off of it.

I had a 79 volare sedan once upon a time. It had the leaning tower without power with low oil pressure, I put a piece of electrical tape over the idiot light so I didn't have to look at it anymore. It was a rattletrap cheeseball of a car but would have started right up in Antarctica and never failed me to get from point A to B.

That car is great... I would sooner give 3700 for this... than 3700 for a Toyota of any year! I had a 79 duster and would give my eye teeth to get it back! Those slant sixes were the best!

The volare would make one hell of a sleeper! A nice warmed over big block would be a blast!
