1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham Coupe - Bring a Trailer Auction - Miami, Florida

BaT Description
CS23T7C154999
This 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham is a black-on-black coupe that is powered by a 440ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include steel wheels, a black landau top, chrome bumpers, tufted leather seats, power accessories, air conditioning, an aftermarket sound system, and a dual exhaust system. The seller acquired the car in March 2020, and recent service is said to include replacing the radiator, intake manifold and valve cover gaskets, air filter housing, fuel filter, fuel lines, and vacuum lines. This New Yorker is now offered with service records and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in black, and the matching vinyl top was reportedly replaced during previous ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, hideaway headlamps, tinted windows, side mirrors, side skirts, and twin exhaust finishers. The seller notes repainting on the hood and trunk lid, a missing rear pinstripe, worn weatherstripping, and bubbling along the bottom of the driver-side door.
A walk-around video can be viewed above, and a driving clip is provided below. Additional footage is available on the seller’s YouTube channel.

Just noticed water stains on the headliner!! This one could be be a big dissapointment, Imo!

Beautiful thing. Only thing I'd prefer is the velour interior.

correct me if i'm wrong, but the mileage, condition, exterior everything all lines up - is it the same car? when it was sold in 2018, there were no pictures of the vin tag or anything like that (unless for whatever the reason, those have been deleted)
Yup same car, The RM listing includes the VIN - CS23T7C154999
Thanks for posting!

Hello everyone, I am the seller of this car.

A few notes:
Going to the Bring a Trailer link will reveal many more photos & youtube videos.

As mentioned in the ad, the weatherstripping is in poor shape. Otherwise, I do want to clarify that the leather is not dried out, it is still very supple and unlike the 3 other New Yorkers & Imperials I looked at before purchasing this one. The top is also in fantastic shape and stain free, as it was replaced by the previous owner, possibly the person who bought it at the auction linked. I am not sure which pictures may appear to show defects in the top. However in person, none of those details are present. I have been a lurker here looking for info prior to purchasing this one, figured I'd join and reply to you guys since you've found my ad.

Feel free to reach out to me at federicoalmonte@bellsouth.net if you have any questions prior to bidding. Thanks everyone, have a great night!

Geeez missed this one when it first appeared, 193 Photos? Is this the new BaT $500 VIP white glove treatment I read about recently?

Are my eyes deceiving me? Is that a upper radiator hose made out of a fire hose?
Wrong valve covers too...
