I was wanting catch this auction in progress but missed it. Great looking New Yorker Brougham.

I feel his reserve at $25K is too high since it was predicated on him getting back what he invested in the car. Since when does one get back what they invested in a car especially if they go above what the car is actually worth? Then again he is a dealer which explains his thinking.

aaaYep just seen on Mecum a Duster resto-rod that looked nice with a 440 in it, auctioneer said 150k was put into it, SOLD hammer price $33k.

(edit 2) Some funky **** going on with this car, seems it has a broken engine block mountain tab by the starter motor and when someone mentioned it in the comments he went for a look and explanation, then a correction disclaimer like don't worry it's OK, then (I guess) he found the sway bar link and replaced those. :rolleyes:
