We have the original documentation as to where and when it was purchased when new, all operating instructions and booklet including emission control system. The New Yorker has the 440 engine with the factory Electronic lean burn system, nearly new tires, leather interior and factory air conditioning. OK that enough bait for me, why?

MV is an island in the ocean. 100% saltwater humidity.
Even galvanized bolts are kaput after a year.
You don't get rust holes, per se but every square inch underneath will be deteriorated beyond saving.
Even if it was an off-island car brought to MV, a few years is all it takes...
