318 with a 4 barrel......... I would have never bought a new one with a small block, these cars are way too heavy and the hp and torque output of a 318 just isnt there

Looking for a 78 Magnum with a 400......

This one is a train wreck!

A friend of my dads bought one new just like that, triple black with T-bar roof and a 400 4 barrel.

I looked up my fury a while ago and came up with 3,800 and some change. I just checked wikipedia and it has the magnums at "weight was nearly 3,900 lb."

My original assumption was that a B would be lighter than a C. :eek:ops:

The poly 318 in my 65 Coronet does well as long as you keep in mind it's not a high performance engine. 20/21 MPG. BUT the poly 318 in my 64 D200 dodge crew cab is just not enough to get the job done. You learn to enjoy the scenery on a long hill.

With my spare, jack, and the other crap I carry in the trunk I'm probably weighing in at 3,900 anyway.

I knew you'd throw that number out there...........No, I would always have ordered a Big Block if I had the chance. NOw, I wouldnt shy away from a 360 if thats what " it " had

No really, I always thought these were 360 powered cars. Didn't know magnums came from the factory with only 318's. Would've thought it be the 360 and 4bbl setup.
