WANTED 1978 Town & Country (T&C) Woodie Panels Required

Greetings from New Zealand.
I own a 1978 Chrysler Town and country...
Im in need of a complete set of the wood/rubber moldings for the entire wagon.
But anything is better than nothing...
I can arrange shipping if required

My woodie wagon is going very well, but just need the wood moldings to make it great again (No pun intended)

Nice to see an M-body wagon here. I have the "companion Dodge" wagon to this - my '79 Diplomat wagon. I will wish you luck with that search, but would also advise that not only have these wagons suffered a VERY low survival rate, the demand for part on these is low, so motivation to salvage remaining cars isn't too good either....... I believe the wood trim on these was a resin plastic, finished to resemble wood, and I probably don't have to tell you they have NOT aged well........ yours look pretty decent actually. Have you considering refinishing/restoring them? Someone on this list recently posted a means of refinishing (to the extent that one can) existing dynoc /vinyl, and maybe...... just maybe... the same general approach could be used for the "wood" trim on these........

Nice to see anouther Caramel Tan wagon. There is one here in OZ as well.
If you have the time and some woodworking skills it could be worth thinking about actualy relaceing the plastic fake wood with actual wood? The stick on is not hard to get ( here in OZ anyway )

Yes the wood/rubber trim is hard to find...but fingers crossed i can get some better ones..
Pictures of my wagon do it justice....but close up they are bit banged around...
Car was originally in Belgium , then into NZ...great to drive....like an old arm chair
We use it for family outing ans car shows with the other cars we have

Whoa, whoa, whoa... that stuff is not hard to fix. I've actually done it before.

Obviously mask the decals, then prep the worst of it like you would any other surface to remove the porosity. A spray-can filler primer works well. Avoid the undamaged areas. When it's suitable for paint (after some 400 grit, but don't remove the grain detail) hit it with the closest match "tan". When that's dry, thin some dark brown latex paint and wipe it over the wood, leaving it only in the grained negative areas. Let it all dry in hit it with some satin-clear for weather/UV protection.

We used to have the 1970 Imperial Lebaron that was Nelson Rockefellers (Vise President of USA) ...but family sold it a couple of years back

We also have a 1989 Maserati Bi Turbo Convertible , plus a 1984 Mazda Cabriolet

Yes I know...American, Italian and Japaneses....what a mix

Rock sold to a Chinese buyer for a museum in China,,, but i hear its still in NZ as the on sale fell through
