On my way to college yesterday I get a call from my brother who spotted a 66 Newport 4 door sedan off highway 10 about 2 miles from me. Today I stopped to look at it and its in pretty decent shape. Some small amounts of rust. Nothing bad at all. No dents. It has a cracked windshield. Runs and drives. All original wheels and caps. Even still has the window sticker. The guy wants to sell this one and another parts one as a set. Both white 4 door sedan Newport's. 383 2 barrel. The nicer one has blue interior and the parts one has red. On the parts its been sitting 10+ years rustier than the other one but its very straight. The Interior is rattier as well. The front of the motor is all pulled apart. Its gonna need lots of love to be driveable.
My question is what are these worth. The wants to sell them as a set. I'm not really interested in the parts one... If I end up buying both. Is there anyone here that needs a parts car? Thanks guys!
