Thanks for your service critter! :canada:. :usflag: you and your unit should be very proud!
Those articles are a great read!

Very cool read, especially about the Blue patch. My son was a cadet in the PPCLI for awhile before he discovered he didn't like taking orders, so now he's a lawyer. Made my father happy though, at least much more so than when I jointed the Navy cadets just to piss him off. :icon_fU: Turned out I didn't take orders well either so I started my own business and haven't had a boss for almost 40 years.

When l joined l thought they'd send me somewhere exotic....they sent me to Wpg 2 PPCLI....50 miles from home....
Here l am 41 years later doing a bld project 5 mins away from my old baracks on kenaston and driving by the parade square l spent many hrs on.....lotta memories
.seems lve come full circle.....back to work....projects in sask awaiting my attention.....

Yes I remember those days, sun, rain, wind, snow, whatever! The worst were in the hot stuffy drill hall under the watchful eyes of a bunch of brass. I still remember how to spit shine a pair of boots. Liberal amounts of paste polish and a candle or cigarette lighter helped to do a really great job. :)
