Sorry, can't seem to delete the 60 dodge and redundant picture.

There are some beautiful cars pictured in this thread, but, as a somewhat opinionated, sometimes grouchy purest I am a little dismayed at the number of cars with aftermarket wheels and, (especially), blackwall tires. I bet you could count the number of C body convertibles that were delivered with out white walls on one hand. Also, white letter tires on pre 1970 C's is just not right,
After all the trouble of restoring/preserving a beautiful car like these why would one take a cheap shortcut on tires. JMHO.

Because not all came with road wheels and many wheel covers are boring or dull.

Because tire selection is limited and undersized especially on our cars.
I like stock as much as the next guy but sometimes you gotta be different or even need to be different.
