Old Man with a Hat
My 67 Polara 500. A original paint survivor.
This is the best I can do with the short notice LoL!!!One month left for photo submissions. Still looking for 63-65 New Yorker - 300 - Fury pics. Fifty's era DeSoto's. I can't put it in the calendar if it's not submitted. My unicorn would be a 1955 300.
I posted this guy about 3 years ago? It’s sitting up in Mojave and it is or was for sale. I haven’t been by in a while and it may be gone. All original, very rusty*, came from Nevada I believe Juan said. Hemi still in it but it’s been messed with and parts are missing. If anyone is interested in it I’m going by there Saturday for Gene Windfields annual car show/party. Supposed to have his museum finally finished.I really hope we get to see that ‘56. @The Goose — Is it a St Regis?
I am taking photo submissions for the 2022 FCBO Calendar. Requirements are photos be of 1080dpi or 2 mg file size or larger. I prefer the aspect ratio be 4:3 although if useable 16:9 can be used sometimes w/ a little cropping. Last years response was over whelming and I hope for the same this year. The calendar will consist of one feature car per month as well as a cover photo. This year I am seeking out also cars rarely seen to add variety that represents the Chrysler Corp lineup. I look forward to your submissions. If you have any questions PM me directly. Suggestions are encouraged and welcomed.
David
Hey Goose if you talk to Gene Winfield ask him if he remembers this car. He built it back in the early 70's and I repainted it in the late 70's. I redid the original paint scheme but now it's in Europe with a different paint job.I posted this guy about 3 years ago? It’s sitting up in Mojave and it is or was for sale. It had New Yorker emblems. Sorry my pics are all gone but that one.

That’s awesome. I’ve seen pics of that before. Okay I’ll hit him up about it. It’s hard to talk to him on show days but if you stop by on a normal business day he’ll talk to you for hours. I’ll let you know what he says...Hey Goose if you talk to Gene Winfield ask him if he remembers this car. He built it back in the early 70's and I repainted it in the late 70's. Mr Gene said heck yes he remembers that car and why in the world are you painting over his masterpiece!!! He’s in his 90’s but you still don’t want to cross him LoL! He laughed and said for you to come by the Shop anytime and you guys can talk paint. He had no idea what ever happened to that car.Hey Goose if you talk to Gene Winfield ask him if he remembers this car. He built it back in the early 70's and I repainted it in the late 70's. There he is signing a shirt I picked up for my brother. I’ll post some picks on its own thread. This was the biggest show at his shop in all the years I’ve been going. And if all these shows lately are any indication of what’s going on, I’ll bet the Fall Fling in Van Nuys will be the biggest ever.
Here’s one for you...I really hope we get to see that ‘56. @The Goose — Is it a St Regis? (Edit: the reason I think so is because that trim was the only one with a tri-tone paint scheme).
Thanks for the heads up. will fix w/ photo shop.Awesome pics David.
Dave's car is an N code not a 440 car.
