Sold. Or ad removed anyway.

The S.O. for the car is 125-CC-J99788 (on window sticker). Vehicle order number on the Broadcast sheet says 125J99788. After Mr. Rhodes passed, the car was sold to fellow Colorado resident Howard Long of Golden, CO. in 1989. I purchased the car from Howard in 2000. I have pretty much every piece of paper that came with the car originally, along with all service records from those owners. Mr. Rhodes even kept a small booklet in the glove box going back to the first tank of gas he purchased for the car on Dec 4th, 1970, when he put 19 gallons in the new tank! It is a very clean, original car. Gold paint on the fiberglass areas is dull/faded compared to the paint on the metal surfaces, but I really can't bring myself to touch it (the old saying, they're only original once). It still has the original spare tire which has never been removed from the original position in the trunk, same with the jack, of course. Only slight warpage of the trunk lid, and the wing has no aftermarket bracing. Some time in the mid 2000's I did remove the heads for a valve job as I floated a valve slightly while burying the speedometer needle on the highway, which led to a loss of compression in cylinder #4.
I'll try uploading a few photos, but I'm not too swift at the computer stuff.
What a car that is !!!
Can't wait to read that fender tag!

Noah, can you give us your Door Sticker date? I'm guessing it's June 1970 but it could be May. Those dates are one of the key efforts of the Registry in an attempt to determine the "batches" that went to and from the Hurst facility. We need a lot of data from a lot of cars to eventually figure that one out.

You probably know this, but the 125 number on your Fender Tag is the manufacturing date of every Hurst, even though they were actually built in those batches from maybe late-February through June. The reason for the January 25th date is something of a mystery, but this also happened on other Mopar "performance package cars". Clearly, they were not all made on the same day!

And finally, your Private Messages is full. You might want to clear out the old stuff so we reach you.
you are correct. The door sticker date is 6/70. Build sheet and fender tag are somewhat difficult to photograph, but appear to say the following:
CM23 M6T5 A01 A12 B41 B51 C16 C55 C92 D34 D53 E86 F11 F25 G11 H51 J21 J55 N41 P28 P31 P45 R23 S13 S31 S61 S77 V78 W23 X55 Y39 U75
MSRP $5,939.00 sub total with options $6,789.20, destination charge $162.00, $6,951.20 Total
I can't seem to figure out how to empty/delete my private messages?

@noah300g

Click the little box by the message you want to delete.
Then a box will come up on the bottom of the screen that has a box with options.
Click the "choose options"
Then scroll to top and click "leave message"
Next click the go button.

Can you post the picture of the tag? Even if difficult to read.
I don't see an SPD (scheduled production date) on the list of trim tag options.

Awesome car !!

That's great information and much thanks for sharing it. I'll put out an updated Registry (in this thread The Hurst Registry ) in a few days when I get done sifting some other data.

Deleting the private messages is definitely a bit of a hassle. Let me see if I can talk you through it.
Click on the envelope next to the right your name at the upper right area of any forum page.
Click on Show all.
You'll now see a list of all your PMs. Click the little box in the PMs you want to delete.
Never mind. @cudahunter beat me to it! :usflag:

cuda, Noah included the 125 when he provided his VON in Post #22.
