I picked up these road wheels a few weeks ago. I was looking at the paint on them and I think they maybe are from a 70 300 Hurst. Too bad the guy only had 3!! the other picture is from an original 70 300 Hurst.

300 Hurst, yes those are painted like a 1970 300 Hurst.

A 300H is from 1962. Let's defer to the club that been around since 1970 on this just so everyone know what car you are on. You hang around the Club and call a Hurst a 300H you will be corrected until you speak clearly!

I stand corrected thank you :)
Good Morning Kevin, I have a few sets of the later Road Wheels, for my Chrysler's. Yes, yours, have the earlier center cap and the distinctive paint stripe. But the actual rim is the same as my later road wheels. That's a great find, too bad you only got 3. Enjoy, from a fellow Chrysler Canuck.

Howdy do :) Yeah the rims themselves are all the same. I have a set minus the center caps that I am using for storage on my 68 Newport Custom.

This information is actually incorrect, and has been since 1970, posted by the 300 Club Intl.

Need proof? Look at the Chrysler factory press releases, Factory Chrysler 300-H owners manual, Factory Chrysler parts list, Factory parts manuals etc., and articles written about the car in 1970.

It is and was clearly called, without any exception the 1970 Chrysler 300-H. The "H" clearly designating Hurst.

Unfortunately, "The Club" et.al., have it wrong, and always have.

Look at a factory printed "Hurst" owners manual....or better yet the factory press release....not hard to find these days on the interwebs.......
