My buddy wants to sell his 360 heads. They came off my old race car. Just plain Stock 1972 heads. He just did the Magnum conversion. He's in Atlanta

1K for a set of heads, plus all the necessary hardware is a little out of my range.
I'll keep a watch out for a set of used heads, or just redo my originals.

If you give your 69 heads the full rebuild with hardened seats, guides, new valves and a good valve job and machine work, don't be surprised if you ruin or exceed $1000.

I'd shop for some aluminum Magnum style heads or at least an LA head with the Magnum chamber.

Todd Marsh has a good rep and handles several Mopar lines.

Pro Comp used to be pretty reasonable $$.

I can get my heads done locally for about half that. Looks like my best option.

Look around for #302 castings, not a lot of people are looking for them because they have the small ports. The combustion chamber and hardened valve seats would be a upgrade. You could have them done while still having car running with old ones, because I know that car is go, go, go.

Why are we trying to "hop up" a.....

I'm not that's why I told him to get #302 castings, small port low rpm torque exactly what will needs for the Admiral and the high swirl combustion chamber will help combat detonation and not damage pistons

Increased low and mid range torque is what I'm looking for. Will also look at good mid range cam grinds and a small 4bbl carb. Add to that a 1 ton truck 727 loadflight trans and I should have what I need for our "route 66 & west coast tour".
