For Sale 4 speed 300L convertible

This car is a legit 4-speed L Convertible. And it is the car on the "300 Poster". It does need a resto.
I have that same poster in my office. I see no mention of the transmission anywhere on it. How do you know this?
 
Because the current owner of the car told me it was, and he was told by the previous owner in California that it was the poster car. And that was the owner when the car was photographed.

Will never hold up in court.
 
Why not post pics of the actual car as it sits today? You are not buying the car from the poster that was taken 25 years ago. That is, if the car in question actually is the car from the poster.
 
I was looking at buying the car a few years ago for my dad and he sent me some pics but I can’t find them. Biggest issue is the car hit a pole in the front that damaged the hood grill and bumper. The rest was original paint that might come back.
Frontend is all fixt and Engine running now.....
 
I’m going to be in Cranbrook at the end of this month if anyone here is seriously interested in the car and wants to have me look it over.
