SOLD 440, and 727.

Have a good running, and shifting 440, and 727 out of the ‘78 D300.

Engine has a bunch of new parts on it.

Alternator
Power steering pump
A/c clutch
Fan clutch
Water pump
Etc, etc.

Engine runs decent, and has great oil pressure. Believe it has 130k on it. It will need a new carb, or rebuild the one thats on it. Believe it to be a dud.

Trans shifts as it should, and has been serviced this last year. Does have the truck tailshaft, that would need to be swapped out for use in a car.

Pulled this setup to swap in a cummins. Only reason for selling.

Wouldnt be afraid to throw a gasket set at it, clean, and paint her up, and put her back into service.

No, not Jeff. Guy on craigslist from savannah. lol he supposedly coming tomorrow on my lunch hour to grab it.

Not trying to get rich, but cant give it away either. Thought it was a pretty good deal, for a running/driving set up.

Nope... I did climb in very early (before it was removed) and tried to help it stay in house(FCBO)... that fell apart so Zac got busy. Man he works fast.

BTW I can endorse this one if the CL buyer flakes out. She ran great when I was in the truck.
