I love those 57s they have to be or close to the high water mark for 300s. Anybody ever call and get a price.

Crime story............ havent seen an episode in fifteen years

I loved it and have it on DVD.
But haven't seen it in at least the last 15 years, too

The 57 300 CV was just rented back then and is still with the same owner. There was a thread about it on forwardlook.net
The main actor of the series, Dennis Farina, died unfortunalty in july

I used to love to watch "Crime Story" just to get a glimise of that black 57 C convertible......

Funny, Same here, I always would try to catch the intro to see a couple flashes of it.

I love that some of the old shows that aired before my time are being broadcast again. I have seen some pretty cool Exner cars on "Peter Gun" lately.

UP DATE ON THIS BEAST. It'z gone literally and physically. perchased by a Sweed. Now in Coldwater,Mi. waiting for a container to show up and shipped across the pond for a full ground up restoration. Seems it was a very highly optioned car also. The only one known with a gas heater! Jer

But of course.
Wish it had stayed here.
When they go overseas, the restoration takes 5X longer at triple the price.
After that, they'll drive it to a gas station in Romania and let a mob dance on the roof.

That's a bit of oversimplification :)

..but funny as hell.

But this is a candidate that could come back to the US, as potential buyers have better resources than the typical C-body crowd/kraut.

Thanks Carsten, those are some real beauty's!

I wouldn't care if the cars went to Pakistan if the owners all looked after their cars that well. Spread the word...
