6 pack costs?

No need to change the rods or damper. You have an Edlebrock manifold which was only used on the 69 A12 cars which used the standard but shot pened 440 HP rods. It's the main reason the 1969 A12's were so much quicker. The heavier (6bbl/six pack), rods were used in 70 -71, likely for warrantee reasons.

The holley 2bbl carbs are really easy to live with once setup, as long as you stick to the vaccuum actuated secondaries.

But I think your choice to keep the GT more original is a wise one.
A new aftermarket 6bbl set up like you show will set you back around $2500.00.
List it on ebay with a reserve or a BIN option.

thanx for the imput Blue from what l understand intake came from a 69.. 340/6 and 2500 is about what l have into it..don't think l'll have any probs getting rid of it..my biggest problem now is decideing in regards to what l would like...what the car needs and whats the right thing to do ...reliability has me throwing on a fast set up..the bully in me wants the six and the part with reason says leave it the heck alone and restore it to oem specs..have some soul searchin to do l think..thanx for the imput folks

Somehow I got the impression the setup was for a 440. Looks like one. The 340 manifold will likely be even more rare, so ..... Your right. should be no problem finding a home if you decide to sell.

Even if I wouldn't want to use them I'd Keep them and put it somewhere in the living room where the wife won't stumble over it. :)

That's definitely a manifold for a big block Mopar in the picture, not a 340.

k now you got me thinkin..obviously intake isn't gona go on small block... but builder said was a 69 setup..will have to get in contact with rebuilder and clear up my facts

I know nothing about these but like the look of it. I would like it on my car. What is the total cfm of the 6 pack? I have a 700 on my car now and have been told by several people my engine should have a bigger carb. I was thinking of going with a 800 holley doninator. I only have about 300 miles on elbrock (sp) 700. Mineis a 68 motor bored .030 with real mild cam. However I have real tall gears...no good?

appoligies wont be letting it go....just had a friend with a restored 70/440 stock and he actually went down a size to 600 because the larger carb was giving to much fuel or something along those lines..runs good now...larger carb may not be the way to go..would depend a lot on engine build...would queery the folks here as lm not much help as lm still bringin myself up to speed re mopars
belive 6 packs are around 1200-1300...1320?

I had an edelbrock 600 on a 400 in a truck and it seemed like I was always in the throttle. Put and edey 750 on and got better mileage and just had my foot on the pedal lightly. Hot Rod did a blurb on this and stated that the bigger carb doesn't need as much air to deliver the same amount of fuel etc, basically not work as hard as a smaller one.

1350 CFM.

Outer 2 carbs are 500 CFM and center is 350 CFM.

Holley 2BBLs are rated differently than Holley 4BBLs though so it's probably more like a ~980 CFM total in comparison to a 4BBL

Your friends 600CFM sounds pretty low for a 440 from my experience. I normally like a 750 on a spruced up 440. However I plan on putting a 6 BBL on my R/T

No 340 six pack in 69. 70 only ........ AAR Cuda & T/A challenger.

Yours is a big block set up. You need to verify weather it is an original manifold or a repop. Some 6 bbl manifolds were made for a "B" engine in the aftermarket also, andwon't interchange with a "RB" engine.

The CH6B indicates an original OEM manifold. I don't think any of the aftermarket units were cast with that.
Carefull check the bottom of the intake below the center carb, (heat crossover area) for cracks. It was a known service issue.
