6 Quart oil pan

Is there a 6 quart oil pan that will fit in a 1972 Polara?

www.440source.com shows a 6 quart pan for A-Bodies. This ishould be the same pan used on C-Bodies. Needs to have the relief for the tie rods. I would contact them about fitment prior to ordering.

i asked about those pans back in november and pretty much heard crickets...didnt feel like a $ 250 experiment so i beat the dents out of my old one

I checked with 440 source, and heard back from Terry, he stated that this pan will fit C body's as it has the notch to clear the suspension. I'll pass along an update when the motor gets installed. Thanks Dave & volksword for weighing in.

So then I wonder if the A body oil pan power package would work on my C body. It's got the oil pump, gaskets, bolts, windage tray and all for $300. Seems like a great deal. The pan looks like it has the indent for the tie rods.
