That depends on your resources and what makes sense. A lot of cars are what we want to own, not all of them make economic sense. This is a passion of love, so do what makes sense to you. PS you wife may kill you.

Absolutely zero useful info in that article and not a lot more in the ad.

That being said if the Letter Car only doodads are all there and the mechanical and body work done so far is actually done properly, I think you could have a very nice driver quality Letter Car when you were done and not be completely totally upside down. Pebble Beach quality isn't happening for less than 6 figures no matter what you start with and you won't break even on one of those jobs unless it actually wins all the ribbons at Pebble Beach.

The car as a whole including the kind of paint preparation doesn't suggest high Standards in mechanical or body work. I guess this work took place a Long time ago and seeing no rust return on the outside in These pics at least this could have been a Sound base bodywise right from the start.
 
Did anyone click on the Classic cars website, scroll down and look at and read the info on the 1960 black 300 for 50k...…..that is the first one to check into.
