I like it!! 1965 300L around there as well!!!

Here's a unique opportunity for a Mopar man. A custom built pick up truck made from a 1960 Imperial. Chassis shows 80k miles and the engine with 40k miles. Engine is a 1973 Imperial 440 4 bbl with a 1973 Torque-flight. Differential is from a 1964 T&C with 4.11 suregrip and 3x11 drums. Body has rust in rear quarters and roof. Doors and front clip very good and front bumper is nice. Floors are solid and dash is OK. Included are restored and unused speedometer cluster and power steering box. Color is a dusty liliac/rose color most probably factory applied. Car is in Grants Pass and you may call Buz at

Other cars of interest and for sale are 1963 Plymouth Belvedere sedan, 1965 New Yorker hardtop coupe, 1965 Chrysler 300L coupe (the last of the Lettered 300s). 1968 Dodge Polara 2 dr HT, and a Chrysler 16 foot Sportboat with 105 horse Chrysler outboard, and 1979Chrysler 300 purchased new by me. I have had these cars for many years and it is time for a younger man to enjoy.

She's been on Moparts a few days..... to me it Looks like a real flower car built by a coach builder BUT I wanna see the proof.

It needs to be saved. I'd like to see the rest of his collection.

That Imp looks like it was built by a coach builder.

I spoke with the owner, seems it was a Chrysler exec. (Pete Peterson) who wanted an El Camino. Being an exec that wouldn't have gone over well. So he took a 4dr and sent it to a custom shop in Hayward Ca. for the conversion around 1967. This is not a flower car according to the story I got. In the early 70s the engine went out and Pete found a new totaled out Imperial, and slid the drive train in along with a tilt / tele column. Pete also wanted to tow with the creation so he found the rear end with sure grip and installed that. The current owner has owned it since 87. I'm waiting on pics of the rust areas.

Flower cars never had tail gates ,to truck like. Some had a rear door and where able to carry flowers and a casket or some just had a open well for flowers and that is all they carried.

Every flower car I have seen had an open bed, nothing closed to carry a casket in.
