Posted on the forward look site a short time ago.......

I went to see this Fury today. The salvage company has rented space at Raceway Park in English town,Nj, along with a few other salvage companies. Thousands of cars, bikes, exotics, and hot rods.
The fury looked real nice. The water line was up to the exterior door handles. The oil pan and starter were in the trunk. The engine and Trans dipsticks were rusty.. The top was up, though the passenger side power windows were down. The interior and dash were very nice

Thats what I figured with the intake looking like that

I see somebody buying that thinking he's making a shrewd deal and in five years you're going to see it on eBay as an aborted attempt at restoring it.
And with no mention it was once a submarine.

Just my opinion, I wouldn't buy any car flooded with salt water.

Looks like they pulled the car from the auction...... HUMMMMmmmmmmm...:eusa_think:

Not sure whatever happened to this car but found more info about it.... Just interesting stuff.

Just reading this post for the first time. This is my '60 Fury Convrt. that I sold at the Mecum Auction last May here in Indy for hammer price of 40K. You can look up past auctions on Mecum's website. I purchased the car in Fall of 2010 in Auburn, IN. I did the Red Sportone to the front, repainted the dash and did a complete new and correct interior in red (originally green). When I got it someone had done the seats in brown grained vinyl, brown velour door panels and painted the dash flat black (horrible!). The interior was all SMS with beautiful door panels that took 9 months to get. SMS ALSO SUPPLIED THE SEAT FABRIC. It was very nice. The 22K miles couldn't be verified but I believe it is correct. Car pretty solid overall. It has so-so paint the was done prior to my aquiring it. Nice driver. The entire top end of the motor was done and ran superbly. Less than 50 miles were put on it since I finished it. Too bad this happened to it. I had no idea where the car ended up and surprised to run across this posting. If some one knows the new location and owner I would be I interested in hearing.
