I think Mark is blue because of the car thing....
Bob, you going to spring Carlisle?

I'm planning on going for one day only. Don't know if it'll be Friday or Saturday. One of my friends wants to go too. Don't know yet if he has to work Friday. Are you going?

i'll be there @ 8:30 friday...........wife is dropping my son off for school, which is adjacent to the grounds, then i'll call her and she can pick me up when I'm done. If Im' really lucky (yeah, right!!) I won't need a ride home.

My current plan is to go Friday

I should know tonight, I'm hoping to go on Friday before all the good stuff is gone.

Good Luck Mark......would be nice if you finally found a car.

:rolling:...... LMAO....... I remember seeing biker chicks skinny dipping in the puddles at spring Carlisle.

yeah, I guess that didnt come out right..................

I have been going to the spring and fall shows since I was 16, this fall will be thirty years for me. ( not continuous) I remember when they didnt have paved rows and when it rained they would fill the mud puddles with hay.

Still the case in Europe's largest swap meet in the back rows. Haven't caught up. :)

enjoy the hunt. I know its tough but the search is fun and shouldnt be looked at as a chore[/QUOTE]

Your right about that Dave. Seems there are a few of us here, Mark included, who share the excitement of finding that dream car....... Even if we didn't know we wanted it.:woohoo:

Any new info on the two 61's in NJ Mark....?

if the white one is still avail he is bringing it to carlisle, asking 22K, asking 12.5K for the black one. according to the cl ad, black one must be sold as it is no longer listed.

over my head $$-wise, so it's a no go. Remember, if it is near me it's either overpriced or junk. Newer conv or t-top car is looknig more and more likely by the day.

I see an 86 Monte Carlo in your future and that ain't good.......
Dave? help me out here.

negative.......you know, in 1987 i was in the showroom and almost bought a silver 87 aerocoupe but could not stomach the 17K tag

i love the look of them, but the 305 is a junk motor, does not last much past 100K, if you even get there. cams with flat lobes, burnt valves, you name it.

too bad they didn't make the 94-96 caprice LT1 with a t-top! There is a 96 Caprice LT1 in lancaster with 26K on it for 6K

a friend of mine has an 87 aerocoupe with T's and a nicely worked 350 but that'll cost 20 K just to get it back to good.

I dont need to help you out Stan, Mark hasnt slipped....... yet

I panicked when I saw the word T-top and all I could think of was a mullet head in a Camaro...
