What auto trans did these come with RossOne of my favourite cars - I had a Corgi Toy 61 Dynamic 88 4 door as a very young child - I never went anywhere without it. Same colour too!!
He just made me a deal. I'm seriously considering it. He says it's a 3 speed auto.No A/C...
Cool old sedan... somebody will love her, I hope.
Flip or for a driver? Either way, I bet anything missing is going to be C body tough to find. That radio install is unfortunate, I'm sure the dash was cut... but may have been cut before this one. That ones X frame years... I'm not even sure where to look for rust through, but careful with jacking... some of those were tricky. I've heard stories of windshields popping out. No personal experience. He just made me a deal. I'm seriously considering it. He says it's a 3 speed auto.
Well I just kinda like it. Yea I needs some work. He told me the brakes need work. Rear glass needs a gasket. I'm sure I'll sell it if the right deal comes along. Assuming I get it in the first place. Good info on the jacking. Yea the modern stereo kills the look of the dash.Flip or for a driver? I hope it all turns out right for you... neat car for sure.I just got off the phone with the guy. I made a very good offer sight unseen. Pending he described it accurately. Said he will let me know in a day or so. Wish me lock. For some reason this car pushes my buttons.
Well, well, well. He just called me & countered. We are $300 bucks apart now. I'd do it in a heart beat, but my schedule is a bit slammed. I hedged & asked him how long did I have & he said take your time. So NOW the balls in my court.
All the GM full size cars were downsized in 1961, and I thought it was a huge improvement in styling too. You could give me a 1961 Pontiac Ventura 2 door anytime, or just about any of the others as well including the Oldsmobiles. Even the Cadillac sported a unique dorsal fin that I thought was very creative and well done.
