Ok, did some searching and came up with some answers. Found a couple of viewpoints about the car.....one says it was owned by MGM and Marilyn was allowed to drive it, another says it was just a prop and owned by George Barris (photog) or a friend of his, and found a video of George Barris that he says Chrysler was nice enough to loan him cars for his photo shoots. As for the car itself, one source says it is preserved in the MGM (now Sony) museum. Another says it was a loaner from Chrysler for the photo shoot and at this time is MIA. Sure would like to know what the real story is. The optimist in me hopes it still survives and is the one in the museum if there is one there. Can anybody verify a '62 300 Vert in the museum?
