Didnt they call them bird baths or is that something different?

I only know the toilet seat reference from US car literature, but maybe this varied locally.
 
Here's something I didn't know.
I always thought those toilet seats were a stick -on or bolt-on thingie.
Didn't realize they had their own stamping.

They literally burned money if you consider the tooling costs for these different trunklids, grilles eventually even front fenders with the two and four headlight versions for a production of 37 000 cars in 1957, which was even the record year for Imperial as an exclusive seperate make.
