Trying again to help my father sell his ’65 300 coupe. Good resto project. Mostly complete but has not run in 20-plus years. Has a 1974 400c.i. big block V8 that’s missing its 2bbl carb. Torqueflite auto, A/C, buckets and console, tilt wheel, reclining pass. seat. Needs windshield, reupholstery and refinishing. $1950 OBO. Nice. Wish everyone had the forethought to cover engine openings like these guys did for the missing carb.

It's rarely seen that someone swaps an engine like this and actually reinstalls the AC parts.
I wonder how they mated that cast-crank externally-balanced engine to the 19-spline torque converter.
There's a B&M special flexplate to do that. Or knock the 400's TC weights off and weld to the 65's flexplate.


Looks like a good-bones car, but man does it need a lot of $$ to get it even 1/2-way perked up.
