I saw that car and followed it for over two years. It was on the "Dupont Registry" and a couple of other venues. The last price I saw was in an Autorader ad for $19,900. When I first saw the car, it was listed for $25,000. From what I could tell, it looked like a No. 1 car.

12 minutes ......... I think the reserve is of.

No , i talked to the seller 2 weeks ago and bid him 7G He wanted 8G.
Then i asked him more pics and knew it would take much time and money.
I have 5 mopars this moment , all automatic and one 63 mercury monterey colony park 4spd on the floor ( factory ). Original export car ( Europe ).

A similar situation happened with of my cars......... I offered, he wanted more then... He held it then sold it for what I offered. In the end I bought it from that buyer two years later

WOw, C body goodies are really depressed now. Making me rethink investing in them!

On the contrary, C-body stuff is only now beguining to have some value.

I can't believe how expensive it has become over the last ten years. I bought a lot of stuff then that iI can not afford now because of the price increases....

We've come a long way from the days of NOS guys throwing c body stuff away. Now they view it as a hundred bucks a part

On the contrary, C-body stuff is only now beguining to have some value.

With very few exceptions ....... Cbodys haven't reached "investment" status yet.

This forum probably represents the bulk of serious Cbody owners. I don't know of anyone here that has a Cbody "trailer queen".

Some value doesn't equal trailer queen status.... Some value means more than scrap dollars

I do.

It may be worth considering that many, many collectors don't post on "chat room" forums.

I don't think this form represents "the bulk of "serious" Cbody owners". Although, there are many here obviously.

C-bodies will never become AS valuable as their Ford & GM counterparts.
C-body values will RISE as they ride on the coattails of the rise in value of their Ford & GM counterparts.
But C-bodies will always be on the lower to bottom rung on the overall ladder of value of combined makes.
In other words, if a 4 speed BB Galaxie is worth $25,000.00 now and its equivalent 4 speed Fury is worth $10,000.00 now, you can not buy that Fury thinking it's a steal because you live in a Mecum Ford and GM synthetic and manipulated world, then come in here telling us it's a $25,000.00 car and we're all assholes. The day WILL come when the Fury is worth $25,000.00. The Galaxies will be a $40,000.00 car though and scumbag flippers will come in here saying their Fury they "stole" for $25,000.00 is worth $40,000.00. And we'll still be called assholes.
