Hello all. Long time here but this is my current C body in a long time. Just brought it home 3 days ago. i was more into the A/E bodies but I have owned 66NY 4 door HT/67/68/72 Imperials. As I age (screaming and kicking) I find I need size and comfort So I got this:

I would appreciate an opportunity to decode the VIN and Fender Tags of this car--to test my decoder on a loaded NY wagon with a vinyl top. N/C ever. Please post or PM pix. Report of similar car attached. Maybe decode your own?? Happy New Year in any case.

That will be fine but nasty storms over head, breakfast is being made. When the storms pass I will get a photo.

And here is the report for your car. Thank you for posting it. I had to do a little tweaking. I need your input on several things: There is often an inspector's stamp on the fender tag-a single digit. I think I see vestiges of a "9" in the upper RH area of the tag. No big deal, just to improve the quality of the report. I am decoding a Black vinyl top. Is this color possible? Optional vinyl roof colors include black, white & brown. The picture indicates a smarter, lighter color. I am recording Black as the color of the upper door frames-based on the letter "B" on the bottom line under the letter "T" in paint. Is this correct? Just curious--what state are you in and getting rain. I'm in CA 40 miles east of SF, this is the rainy season here and its doing it. Happy New Year in case I don't see ya.

the white car is with a black vinyl top area on each side and white paint down the middle. the upper door frames are covered in Stainless steel so paint color is not known but I would say white. Georgia and we had some Tornadoes in the area. I am from Southern Calif myself. Point conception area.
