I called my friend Jim, up in Tenn yesterday to do some phone tire kicking....
He was all excited about a 65 Polara 500 he just aquired..

He said the car has had one repaint to the original color and the guy deleted the upper side moldings and rocker moldings. I think he got them with the car though.
It looks good without the trim but I think I perfer having it on the car.

Just a tad too AutoZone under the hood that can easily be undone.
The rest of the car: magnificent.
I see nothing wrong with it.

Sweet I love the color. I actually like it without the trim, but it would be great if he still has it, if he wanted to add it later.

I have to agree, although I didn't say so to him...... He was pretty proud of it.
I'm headed up to have a visit with him soon and will work on convincing him to return the OEM stuff back to the engine.... He has that stuff piled up at his place.

Looks really good! I like these cars much better without all the side mouldings. However, I am leaving the trim on mine that is on the body line midway up the car. The magnums look good too!

I think it's a great looking car, but have to say it would look much better IMO without the white walls, but that's just me. Badass though!

Great looking car front to back! I wouldn't change a thing.

Any chance he wants to sell the upper side mouldings for the front fenders? I just bought a 65 that's missing the moulding on the fenders and I'm having a real hard time finding it
